Description of why you chose the problem you chose, and why now is an interesting time to work on that particular problem (~1000-1500 words)

Context

Background: The Domain of the Problem

Description of the problem or opportunity itself, including the social, technological, artistic, and/or economic context of the problem. (~2000-3000 words)

Research: Literature review of relevant earlier work

Narrative description of the research you did (~1000-2500 words)

Novel research: Background on what makes your approach to the problem novel

Description of your approach (~1000-2500 words)

Methodology

System Description

What are you making or researching, and how are you going about it?

Sources

What pre-existing technologies are you using? How are you modifying, extending or combining them?

Methods

How did you proceed with the construction?

Results

What happened when you tested the system, at various points and for various audiences?
(~4000-5000 words overall)

Conclusions

Discussion of conclusions from your current work, possible next steps, and any complex problems or novel future opportunities you think you have uncovered. (~3000-5000 words)

Appendices

Any additional documentation, including spreadsheets, architectural or conceptual drawings, course code, video or audio documentation, etc.

Other documentation - appendices that do not appear in the written document may include discs or other archival media.
